De Werfloods is a sporty event venue and inspiring meeting location in Arnhem, located on the banks of the Rhine on the Stadsblokken. This historic wooden shed now offers an original meeting place for small-scale gatherings of 10 to 50 people.
It is suitable for creative workshops and recreational activities. These are organized on, in or near the water and, of course, in the shed itself: with 400 m2 of covered space, the activities can continue in all weather conditions.
It is the home base of Excel Events and as part of WatersportCentrum Arnhem, it allows us to offer new opportunities and facilities that fit within our vision of (water) sports and recreation.
Centrally located on the Stadsblokken in Arnhem, De Werfloods is a vantage point of the harbor area, situated between future housing developments and new urban design. It is an event location that combines the dynamics of the city with the relaxing presence of the river, creating an adventurous setting for a special event.
Coming together for an inspiring meeting
De Werfloods is more than just an inspiring meeting location; it is a place where people come together and create unforgettable moments. It is also the operating base for the groups of Excel Events who want to go on an adventure in nature, like for example with the program of Teamday Arnhem.
For this we use spectacular parts of the nature reserve Stadsblokken and Meijnerswijk and we are also regular guests at the monumental shipyard The Stadsblokkenwerf.
No parties
The location is unfortunately not available for parties and celebrations.
Winter closure
From Nov. 1 to May 1, De Werfloods will be largely back in use for boat storage.
At the front of De Werfloods is the glass house. This space is suitable for a small-scale meeting or workshop. The greenhouse is 5×4 meters or 20m2 in size.
The greenhouse is heated and has comfortable chairs. Combined with the central center space and bar (total 100m2), this makes this accommodation available for groups from 10 to 50 people.

Excel Events is a professional organization of teambuilding workshops, outdoor activities and adventurous events. This can be organized at various locations in Arnhem and at the location of the client, anywhere in the Netherlands and Belgium.
