We don’t fit everyone. Check this out. Saves you time, and us too.
Having doubts? Schedule a brief intake – then we’ll tell you honestly.
At Excel Events we strive to create valuable experiences where people really touch and shine together. By doing something they haven’t done together before.
A team’s success depends primarily on relationships. Paying attention to them creates positive energy. Teams work better together: with more fun and with better performance.
We consider each group unique and we seriously build teams, with action and fun.
For teams who want to be the best they can be.
What you can expect from us
What we need
Do you have a beautiful outdoor venue (or waterfront/forest/heath) and want to host corporate groups more often? We bring recurring bookings and hassle-free services into execution. Take a look at our favorite outdoor venues.
Excel Events was founded in 2017 by Jouke van Dijk. In the previous 15 years he was director-owner of one of the largest outdoor event agencies in the Netherlands (±1000 groups per year) and commercial manager at the world’s largest hotel family.
During his MBA studies, he explored the space between a “fun” team building and a “serious/educational” team training. Based on that, Excel Events developed workshops that revolve around content, energy and interaction.
An example is our Outdoor Method with experiential learning: targeted, short-cycle assignments that are simple, not physically demanding, but powerful. The participants are central.
This is how we distinguish ourselves from survival-type activities (no Camp van Koningsbrugge 😉 ) and from the standard team outing.
Angelique works in elementary education as a quality coordinator and is the boxing coach at Excel Events. She specializes in behavior and resilience.
A certified DISC trainer, she also works as a team coach and with drives. With her black belt karate and experience in various combat and defense sports, she makes the translation to human behavior, communication and cooperation.
Gelderland is ideal: you have cities, nature and beautiful outdoor locations within easy reach. This allows us to create programs that run smoothly (logistically), but feel adventurous.
You usually know enough within 15 minutes.
You tell us what you’re looking for, and we’ll tell you what we can (and can’t) do.
