We have a passion for the outdoors. Preferably in the middle of nature. Whether in the woods or by the water. We like to go outside as much as possible with the participants. This provides fresh air and a clear mind. The surroundings and the weather elements are an added dimension.
Sociability and fun
Sociability and fun are also paramount with us. Everyone participates! We take into account the target group and goals.
Valuable moments
We aim for a valuable time for everyone. Especially also a moment in which participants shine and touch each other. In order to excel. To do something they have never done with each other before. In order to get to know yourself and the other better. And to get the best out of each other!
Working in & on your team
Fun and educational workshops allow us to work on leadership, collaboration, communication, trust and connection.
These include challenging outdoor activities as a team assignment. Or educational workshops to activate certain topics.
Quality and originality
We do this in cooperation with like-minded partners in matching locations. We distinguish ourselves with quality, sustainability and originality.
The background and context of team building
Building an effective and cohesive team is incredibly difficult. But it’s also actually quite simple…. after all, you don’t need great intellectual insights or tactics. It mainly comes down to courage, human qualities and discipline. But it is hard to achieve. Because: it can’t be bought, and you can’t just obtain it by hiring an outside consultant to do the job.
Fortunately, Excel Events offers a helping hand with team building workshops and the Team Pathway for true team development. In the healthy outdoors you will work with your team on challenging activities. In nature the behavior of the participants is central. Especially human nature is exposed. This allows us to work on trust, connection, leadership and synergy.
1. Poor communication within the team: Team members do not communicate effectively, leading to misunderstandings, confusion and inefficiency in work.
2. Low cooperation and team cohesion: There is little cooperation among team members, which puts pressure on productivity and quality of work. Team members often work in silos and share little knowledge or help.
3. Conflicts and tensions within the team: There may be conflicts that disrupt the work climate. This may be due to personal differences, different work styles or lack of clarity about responsibilities.
4. Lack of trust: If team members do not trust each other, it can lead to fear of sharing ideas, lack of openness and lack of shared responsibility.
5. Insufficient motivation: Team members may feel demotivated, which affects their performance and the overall atmosphere of the team.
6. Changing team dynamics: With new team members, team restructures or mergers, adjustment problems may arise. Activities are needed to help the team re-form and work together.
7. Leadership deficit: A team may seek team building to improve managers’ leadership skills so they can better motivate and guide their team.
Are you task-oriented or more people-oriented?
Quiet or quick in the workshop?
Working with yourself or with the other?
Insights into behavior and/or motivations play the common thread in our team building workshops. We regularly use the DISC model, Lencioni’s theory and the Appreciative Inquiry philosophy and change method.
The Outdoor Method
Outdoors can give a boost to your team dynamics! Deliciously in the healthy outdoor air you will work on challenging assignments.
In nature, the behavior of the participants is the focus. Especially human nature is exposed by this. This allows us to work on trust, connection, leadership and synergy.
The natural setting invites participants to think differently about their doings, acting and organizing as a team. They learn to appreciate each other’s qualities in a new way while facing physical and mental challenges.
The Excel Events team has a passion for the outdoors. Whether this is in the woods or by the water. We like to go outside as much as possible with the participants. This provides fresh air and a clear mind. In addition, the weather elements are a dynamic stimulus that gives the participants extra stimulation. In the winter, of course, we seek shelter and indoor spaces more often. Or we light the campfire!

Let's begin
Together we explore your team's strengths and dynamics; what do you value?
In imagining the ideal future, we ask each other the question: what do you desire?
Then we develop a program with success factors for developing your potential
We accomplish this with workshops that connect and can create positive change.
